Alegerea produselor trebuie realizata in functie de nevoile specifice ale acestui tip de ten. Tenul mixt este caracterizat printr-o combinatie de zone cu exces de sebum si zone normale sau uscate, cel mai frecvent in zona T (frunte, nas, barbie). Acesta poate prezenta pori dilatati si tendinta de luciu in anumite zone, in timp ce altele pot fi mai sensibile sau deshidratate. Ingrijirea corecta presupune utilizarea unor produse echilibrate, care sa regleze productia de sebum, sa hidrateze si sa mentina confortul pielii fara a o incarca.
