Alegerea produselor trebuie realizata in functie de nevoile specifice ale acestui tip de ten. Tenul acneic este caracterizat prin aparitia frecventa a cosurilor, punctelor negre, inflamatiilor si uneori a cicatricilor post-acnee. Excesul de sebum si blocarea porilor favorizeaza dezvoltarea bacteriilor, ceea ce duce la agravarea imperfectiunilor.
 
Ingrijirea corecta presupune utilizarea unor produse care curata eficient, regleaza productia de sebum si au efect calmant si antibacterian. Este important ca rutina sa fie echilibrata, pentru a reduce imperfectiunile fara a irita sau deshidrata pielea, contribuind astfel la imbunatatirea aspectului si sanatatii tenului.
