In viata de zi cu zi, pielea este expusa constant factorilor nocivi din mediul inconjurator: poluare, variatii de temperatura sau radiatii UV. In plus, acumularea celulelor moarte la suprafata pielii poate duce la un aspect tern, pori incarcati si o absorbtie redusa a produselor de ingrijire.
 
De aceea, exfolierea este un pas esential in rutina de ingrijire. Produsele exfoliante indeparteaza celulele moarte de la suprafata epidermei si curata in profunzime porii. Dupa exfoliere, tenul isi recapata luminozitatea naturala, devine mai fin si este pregatit sa absoarba mai eficient produsele aplicate ulterior.
